Beach City Stays On Top; Gnaden, Wainwriaht And Roswell Gain WinsBeach City stayed on top of the County Baseball League standings with a decisive 10-3 victory over New Philadelphia Sunday while the other top contenders also turned invictories.Gnadenhutten deluged Bolivar 32-8, Wainwright trimmed Bowers-ton SM and Roswell took an 8-4 victory over Uhrichsville in a game that was protested by the Ohrichs-ville manager.BOB BllSSELL of Beach City held New Philadelphia to five hits n claiming the victory. Beach City exploded 18 hits off New Philadelphia pitching with Bob Hukill getting four safeties, including a double. Bob Slayman had three hits, Eton Neidenthai doubled and Russell and Warren Vidinger tripled in the Beach City Barrage.MARTIN VESCO hurled the Wainwright victory, scattering seven hits, while Copeland was on the mound for Bowers ton and granted a total of 14 safe blows.Ralph Vesco and R. Cardan! led the Wainwright batting attack as each collected three hits. Copeland had two hits for Bowers ton.
