Galvan's Fish Tops In Ozark ContestC. B. Garrison’s catch of a 7 pound, 9 ounce, large mouth bass still is leading in that division of the St. Louis Globe-Democrat’s Ozark fishing contest, which closes Thanksgiving day.The Galva man hooked the large bass June 14 at Shy’s Lake, Des Arc, Missouri, using a black jitterburg.Several minor prizes already have been awarded him and he is in line for major prizes If someone doesn’t catch a larger fish in that class by the close of the contest.
