CITY'S TEENER TOURNEY ENTRY - The Ail-Star team pictured above will represent Connellsville in the VFW Teener Baseball League tournament that opens Monday evening. Three Teener Leagues in the district will play a round-robin series, best-of-three-eliminations, for the area championship and the right to continue in the tournament that will lead to the state finals.Representing Connellsville are, from left, first row, Bo Welch, coach: Rich Relicb, Ed Kurtz, Kary Kurtz, David Uha-2ie, and Manager Wally Cable; second row, from left, Ron Hail, Rick Kirsch, Gary Cable, Ted Doorley, and Ed Cable; and third row, from left, Ron Marciante, Frank Belko, Bill Herrington, Danny Dolan, Bob Colland, and David Whipkey. Absent were Dan Cole and Ron MongellThe Connellsville All-Stars will meet the Derry-Latrobe League Stars in a besi-of-lhree set, starting Monday at the Latrobe diamond. The winner of that series will then engage the Fayette County League All-Stars for the area title.
