Frank was at bat five times and collected three hits, one double and a brace of singles. His other two attempts were long flies to the outfield.Close behind Wyland in the slugging column was Tommy Dewhlrst, who also had three Mows in five trips to tho platter. One of Tw hirst’s blows was a homo run. oneof the longest ever hit in the local park.A crowd of more than fansturned out to witness the contest.Both of the local runs came in the sixth inning, when two hits were bunched with two colony errors for the only runs scored off Trow.
