■■■■■■■■■■■■ Your TurnLetters From Our ReadersDear NASCAR This Week,The race on Sunday, June 25, 2000, was canceled and rescheduled for Monday, June 26,2000, at 9 a.m.What happens to the fans’ tickets due to the race being rescheduled? I know a lot of people probably had no choke but to go to work on Monday. Therefore, they couldn't make it to the race. Are they refunded or rescheduled for another race?Jill Winter rot h Bradley, 111.IWe assume you are referring to the Pocorio race; which was origin naily scheduled on June 18 and run on June 191 and at 10 a.m.f not 9 a.m. Racing is no different from most other sports with similar schedule formats. The tickets are' valid for whenever the race is rim. There is no easy answer to this problem. Many fans, especially those from far away, wouldhave, just as difficult a time coming back on another Sunday. In recent years, we estimate that at least 80percent of thefans managed to make it back the following day.xDear NASCAR This Week, lama huge Tony Stewart fan. I watch the races every Sunday. (When the Kmart 400 was rain-delayed), CBS left to cover golf. Needless to say, I did not see the end of the race. I wish CBS and ABC would butt out and leave TNN and ESPN, who care about the sport and not just the profit, to air all the races. CBS and ABC won’t even show the complete race results.Andrea Barnhart Johnstown, Pa.
