National LeagueThe Astros defeated the Yankees 1-0 in seven innings Friday evening before the rain came.Barry Tuller pitched the first six innings for the Astros. He was relieved by Jeff Tuller who took the win. Together they struck out 12, walked six, and gave up one hit.For the Yankees, Scott Kelsey, pitched the first six innings. He was relieved by Harry Hayward and Curt Sammons. Hayward took the loss. Together they gaveup two hits.Two highlights of the game came in the fifth inning when Jon Cook in right field threw in the ball, tossing out a player on the plate, and in the seventh inning when an Astro backed up to the fence to catch a fly ball which could have been a home run.
