The much heralded Baltimore, Blade Sox, champions of the East-West j Colored League, will staek-up1 against the Villagers SundajLafter-noon in a doubleheader; tfext Friday, July 22nd, Grover Cleveland Alexander will lead his original House of I}avid lessors into South Orange for a night game with the Villagers.Judging from the record established this season by the noted Black Sox', South Orange will have to be in its best form if it fe to win Sunday. Such noted clubs as the Hilldales, Cuban Stars, New York Black Yankees, Busltwicks. Home*1 stead Grays and Pittsburgh Crawfords have been defeated by the team which is to play in South Orange Sunday, The first game of the doubleheader will start at 2 o’clock.Next Friday’s contest will* mark the first night game in this section. The House of David carry its own portable electric power plant, whifh is said to be the largest in the world on wheels. The entire ball park will be illuminated with huge electric flood lights, elevated fifty feet in the air.
