COLORFUL ALEXANDER STILL IN PUBLIC EYECleveland, July 14.—Truculent, colorful, often eccentric, old Grover Cleveland Alexander is still in the public eye.The great pitcher who turned back the mighty New York Yankees three tims to win the 1926 World Series for the St. Louis Cardinals, if now a member of that crazy mixture of baseball and horse play, called the House of David nine.Alexandrr still pitches, but his old arm hardly ever lasts a full-nine-inning exhibition game any more. But he still can whiza that famous old fast one across the plate for a few innings, and he has won many games, including some against big league opposition, for his tram.(
