Oklahoma State Fair Has Erected Building for A M. ' College Where Week’s Short Course Will-'I----VNBe Taught During Big Exposition ■September 26 to October-7.-;ur•., Every county in Oklahoma is ex-peOted to send two boys and one girl to the State Fair tq attend the week’s’ short course provided by the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Stillwater, through the co-operation.of the State Fair Association of Oklahoma. This Boys’. and Girls’ week at the big exposition which-opens September 26 and closes October 7 will be conducted along lines of last year, but instead of 122 boys from 57-counties, officers of the college say they expect' to ha\$^iS4 boys and 77 kirls in attendance this year. This allows fortwo boysriahd one’girl from each county in Oklahoma. Demonstration lectures were given daily on farm crops, live stock, farm dairying, fruit growing and veterinary science: One hour each day wasdevoted to field and track athletics. Training was had in corn and live stock judging and in testing milk for butter fat. On the last day of the fair there was a contest in track and field athletics. Prizes were given for. excellence in corn judging, farm dairy* ing and athletics.Work for the girls this year will inter. No drifters will be permitted to remain in the school.
