o t , . r tA little girl, wh© was matched to walk 30 miles in eight hours and -a half, accomplished her task on Monday, in a quarter of a mile circle, on Pencnricn-heath. She performed the distance with apparent ease, in 7 hours, 57 minutes, having 33 minutes to spare. The weather was particularly unfavourable fur h^r, it raining heavily great part of the time. Her name is Emma Matilda Freeman; she residesat Strood, and is scarcely eight years of age.*
