Invaders name Dawkins new coachCANTON — Trevor Dawkins, a 23-year professional soccer player, today was named new head coach of the Canton Invaders, the American Indoor Soccer Assn. team announced. Canton rolled up up a 31-9 record en route to the inaugural AISL regular-season title last season and also claimed the playoff crown. But Coach Klaas de Boer was unable to reach contract terms with the club and was not rehired, said Invaders spokesman Brent Bowen.
