Alexander Twirls j Scoreless FramesCLEVELAND, July 10.—Orover Alexander, veteran of many big league and World Scries bat-lies, today had proved that lie still is some pumpkins'1 m the national pastime by pitching two scoreless innings against a Class A semi -pro team here yesterday. The veteran led his bearded House of David team to a 9 la 2 decision over the Class A aggregation.He hurled only the first two innings, but while he was on the firing line, no one scored and only two opposing batters collected hits, and each of those was of the scratchy variety.
