hobby recordiTony Elliott captured his first Super Sprint feature win of the season at the Kokomo Speedway Sunday night and Ronnie Giassburn won his second straight feature for the Street Stocks,In Hobby Stocks, Jim Taylor broke bis old record (: 18.56) set last year with a qualifying lap of :18.42. He won the dash among the four fastest3ualifiers but was denied victory inie feature race, finishing second behind Hank Hilmer.Elliott, who won at Warsaw Saturday night, grabbed the lead on the sixth lap in the feature from Van Gurley, Kokomo's Jeff Donelson got past Elliott on the 11th circuit and led through the 21st lap when Elliott regained the lead.Donelson, who was fast qualifier in his Countryside RV mount, came in third in the trophy dash won by Jac Haudenscbild,Kokomo's Tim Bookmiller was third in the feature, behind Elliott and Donelson, with another Kokomo driver, Gary Fisher, finishing fourth in the Evans Bottle Shop car after starting in the ninth spot.Warren Mockler finished fifth, driving hard to move up from hisllth starting position.Lincoln’s Dave Darland finished 15th and Michigantowwn’s Troy Dunn was 17th.Bookmiller, Fisher and Mark Aid-erson were heat winners. Donelson was third in the heat won by Book-miller. Darland was fourth in the heat won by Fisher and Burlington's Brad Boyer finished fourth in the heat captured by Aldersop.Tim Thor and Randy Louks tookthe heat wins in Hobby Stocks, finishing fifth and seventh in the feature.
