All Stars To Fly-High In Game With Abilene EaglesThe Kerrvilie Black All Stars had a large week end, when they lambasted the Houston Red Socks all over the field at the Colored Ball Park. The scores Sunday were 8-5, and Monday the Stars led the visitors down with an 18-8 trimming. The Abilene Black Eagles, which have been flying mighty high since they tried for the Stars here a few weeks ago, will play a return engagement Sunday, and while the Eagles are whetting their claws and honing their beaks, Manager Bill Haynes is doing a little Star dusting himself, and all will be bright and shining for the game, which begins at 3i30 Sunday afternoon. President Jim Pollard has invited the white friends of the team to attend, and a special section will be reserved for them.
