In the game of base ball played between the Nationals of Augusta and the Alerts of Aiken for a purse 011 the j 4th instant, a fight occurred between j Rtanmore Dickerson and James Johnson,. in which Dickerson knocked Johnson down with a base ball bat, and wasfired upon in turn by Johnson, and wounded in the arm. The affair was brought before the Mayor, and as it was proved that Johnson was acting ii* the! defer, ; . Dieerson was fined $15- andcost.
