A toast t.n ihe Queen was followed by an address in the staff of the school given by Miss Norm a Toppana and responded to by John A. MacDonald.ing. He proposed thanks to both for their effort put forth along those lines.Principal of the school Horace Alien adressed the gathering complimenting the grade twelve class stating that their record throughout the year had been far above reproach. Eliza beh Sikora responded. to Mr Allen’s remarks after which | the group dispersed and proceeded j to the high schol auditorium where ; a program was presented compris-I ins selections by the Coleman High i School choir, by Ralph Ryznar’s orchestra and by Kens Quartet. Eddy Lcdieu complimented ihe trustees on their efforts for the school. Miss Celementjne Celli proprosed a toast to the parents which was responded to bv George Jenkins.Schol valedictorian. Joe Kryczka. then gave an address commending ihe school board and school staff and iheir importance in helping to mould Hie students for future trainChampion NotesCHAMPION- rHNS'-The Amity Club held a family picnic at the farmstead of Mr. and Mrs. C J. Versluys recently and various games were enjoyed. The picnic supper was a highlight of the event. The picnic was marred bv an ar.ririrnr suffered by George F. Smith. Mr! Smith was acting as catcher in a baseball game. A pitched ball glanced off a bat and hit the catcher on the bridge of the nose, breaking his glasses. Mr. Smith suffered a broken nose and lacerations.Follies is not just a water show alone. It is a combined musical revue in water an on stage, presented in the world's largest portable pools and stage, which in themselves are a huge attraction, the gigantic pools being 175 feet long and 35 feet wide, which will take up practically all the floor space.The Water Follies is a very novel and fast moving 2‘- hour show that presents il water scenes and in stage numbers. It contains several beautifully costumed stage production numbers with many lovely water bailee presentations.
