Grays Face Best Test of Season With David NineBrown Hunter's State Hospital Grays and the seating capacityof the Hospital Diamond we both expected to meet their supreme test of the season Monday night when Chief Bender's original and official House of David nine plays under the floodlights.When the same team played here last year the attendance barometer zoomed up to 2.400— more than 500 above the previous high mark.There were no box office complaints at the end of that three-two contest-, won by the bearded batsmen after each team had collected nine hits. In that scrap the Grays slipped for two errors. They gave indications Monday night, however, that they have no intention of allowing fumbles or muffs to be chalked up against them in the box score when they played faultless baseball in their seven-to-one win from Jim Thorpe's Indians.When it comes to playing under the lights, the House of David qualifies with experience in an average of more than 150 games a season during the 25,000mile travels.The game is scheduled to start at 8:30.
