The contest will be staged at Clark park and starts promptly at 6:30 p. m. That starting time sandwiches the game in between the early horse races and the start of the dog races for that day.None greater on the diamond outside the major leagues with several clubs under the big top with less class, most of them with less, thelong-haired and long-w’hiskered HouseHouse of David nine has several grats stars and a team play that dazzles everywhere.Butte Team Loaded.Manager Ben Hardin will have a Butte team on the field of similar class to meet the Benton Harbor wizards.Alex Remneas, former big league pitcher and one of the last team managers in the great but late Mines’ league, dazzled the House of David boys while losing a 2-1 thriller here last year and will be better supported this time. Manager of the telephone company for this district, Remneas calls on his owm office, according to reports, for Mike Henry as his catcher, *he pair having been one of the star batteries in the old Mines’ league with both still going good.All-stars for every post will bepicked to represent Butte, Cap. Wilcox and Ben Hardn collaborating in handling the Butte club in action.Tourists Are Wonders.In addition to playing a caliber ofbaseball that closely approximates the best in the professional game, the bearded team incorporates several novelties calculated to entertain the fans before the conest gets under way. Among the novelties are a “pepper ball” game with the original “pepper” trio officiating and a “shadow ball” game.Walter Faust, regarded as the greatest shortstop outside of organized baseball, is with the club this year with Rip” Atherton, former Yards and Merrill infielder, playing second base. Tommy Dewhirst, advertised as the bearded Babe Ruth,” is in the outfield and bats in the cleanup position.
