Stars, Giants Will Meet In ChampionshipFort Stockton’s two top junior baseball teams will clash for the Pee Wee Championship title on Friday evening.Ending regular season play with identical 12-2 records, the Stars and the Giants will meet in the finals at 9 p.m. The game will be played on the little league fields near Alamo Elementary.Preceeding the championship, at 7 p.m., the Lions and the Saints will meet to decide third and fourth places.STARS DEFEAT OILERSDanny Harding struck out ten batters and gave up only one hit to lead the Stars past the Oilers, 21-4 in the finalregular season game.The Stars had 13 hits, including abases-loaded triple by Mike Nix.
