The W’allis pitcher protected himself with his forearm as a broken bat headed his way, and a Volunteer player pitting behind the back stop didn’t get his arm up in time as the softball hit him in the forehead. Luckily no one was seriously injured.Next week the Frydek Chargers meet the Lumberjacks at Frydek in fast pitch ball. The Rebels play Bay City in slow pitch at that town and the Volunteers play a double header at Wallis also in slowpitch.
