Tcsnady wins 100-tapper in All-Star League raceMIDDLETOWNA1 Tasnadv of Vineland. N.J. picked up his first victory at Orange County Fiar Speedway Wednesday night since April 10. 1965. when he held off bumper -riding Will Cagle to win the 100-lap All -Star League race.Tasnady swapped the lead several times in the early part of the race with Budd Olsen, anOrange County League driver. Tasnady had taken the lead on the fourth lap and held it until the 18th when Olsen, running hard on the outside groove, became the leader until the 35th.At this point. Tasnady passed him on the backstreteh and stayed ahead of the star- studded field until the finish. Olsen, developingclutch trouble, began to slip after that and finally finished fourth behind Jackie Evans.A packed house saw the entire fOO laps run under the green flag in a record - breaking time of 43 minutes two seconds, an unusual occurrence for a race this long. There were no mishaps.
