Tripoli high school will host a girls’ sectional softball tournament, which is one of 31 sectional tourneys being conducted July 17, 18 and 19 throughout the state of Iowa.Some 166 schools will participate in these sectional tournaments with a winner and runner-up from each sectional advancing to district tournament play July 21.Tournament sites that involve area schools are as follows:At Tripoli—Plainfield vs. Fred-1 ericksburg - Nashua winner, 7 p. m., July 18; Wapsie Valley vs. Denver-Tripoli winner, 8:30 p. m., July 18. Finals 7 p. m., July 19,at Tripoli.At Hawkeye—North (West Union) vs. West Central (Maynard), 8:30 p. m., July 17; Fayette vs. North-West Central winner, 8:30 p. m., July 18; North Winneshiek L (Burr Oak) vs. MFL (Monona), ; 7 p. m., July 18. Finals 7 p. m.,July 19.At Hudson—Hudson vs. Janes-5 ville, 8:30 p. m., July 17; Parkers-M burg vs. Hudson-Janesville winner, 8:30 p. m., July 18; Apling-ton vs. New Hartford, 7 p. m.,July 18. Finals 7 p. m., July 19.At West Union — Fredericksburg vs. Nashua, 7 p. m., July 17
