FLETCHER IS CHAMPION OF POAMBOCLUBSuccess crowned the efforts of the Poambo Canoe Club in the holding of its first annual regatta at Bayard's Beach yesterday morning. Almost all members participated and a general good time was spent. Wesley Fletcher, assisted by They T. Snodgrass, secured twenty-one points and captured first prize, a silver trophy; Lewis Compton was second, with seventeen points and secured a bronze canoe; Arthur Wight secured thirteen points and secured third place receiving a large club pennant.The points are from all the events which resulted as follows:Single Paddle—Rhey Snodgrass, first; Lewis Compton, second; Wesley Fletcher, third.Single Handle Paddle—Wesley Fletcher, first; Rhey Snodgrass, second; Lewis Compton, third.Double Handle Paddle—Fletcher and Snodgrass, first; Arthur Wight and Alfred Compton, second; Ed-ward Hanson and Lewis Compton, third.Swimming and Paddling—Lewis Compton, first; Wesley Fletcher, second; Alfred Compton, third.Tilting—Alfred Compton and Ar* Atthur Wight, first; Edward Hanson and Lewis Compton, second; Wesley Fletcher and They Snodgrass, third.Double Paddle—Snodgrass and Fletcher, first; L.
