ARMY HOWARD RE-INSTATEDLondon, June 28,—A. Howard of Winnipeg the negro member of the Canadian Olympic team, the announcement of whose dismissal on the charge of insubordination was made by the teams coach, W. Knox, on Wednesday, has been officially reinstated.J. Merrick, secretary of the Canadian committee, who accompanied the team says that Howard became socross that it was decided to send him back. Upon Howard’s pleas to le retained and promising to place himself absolutely under the coach's orders and not to interfere with the otherr members of the team, it was decided to give him anotner chance. The team leaves for Stockholm tomorrow.SUCCESSFUL GARDEN PARTY(From Friday’s Daily.)No less than 23 autos were commissioned last night to take a large crowd of Brandonites to Stuartville, 11 miles west of the city, where at the farm of Mr. L. Venning a most successful garden party was held as a result of which over $200 has been| handed over to the Toadies Aid connected with the Presbyterian church there.
