Double show at Speedway on tap for this weekendRacing and fireworks Friday night and more racing Sunday night are on the Fourth of July weekend menu at Kokomo Speedway.Promoter Bill Lipkey will present his 3lst annual fireworks display, reputed to be among the best in Indiana, which includes both ground and aerial exhibitions Friday.When Vic Lipkey drops the green flag for the start of racing, some of the premier supersprint drivers will be on hand. Ricky Hood will be leading the pack in a chase for his fourth feature victory in a row at the local oval.Bobby Kinser, Louie Mann and Danny MiJburn will be after their second feature championship. Other top sprinters Include Allen Barr, Kd Angie, Mike Ware, Ron Fisher, Greg Stabb, Chuck McIntyre, Charlie Sarver Jr., Ron Miller, Kerry Norris, Tim Book-miiier, Bob Kolaeki, Bob Christian, Bobby Adkins, Mark Caldwell and Da^iy Smith.The supersprinters will run three heats, a trophy dash and a feature.Jim Guy, fresh from taking all the hobby stock honors Sunday, will have plenty of competition from two-time winner Dave Phillips.Other top hobby stockers include Glen Bradley, Rocky Lucky, BuddyWarner, Kim Guy, Jerry Gain, Gene Burns, Bernle Clark, Bobby Lee, Chuck Piker, Jeff Steward, Dalton Gates, Terry Hull, Jack Heady, Danny Casbon and Dick Day.the hobby stock cars are scheduled to run two heats, a trophy dashand a feature.Time trials start at 7 p.m. with the initial race at 8. Fans are urged to turn out early to assure themselves a seat. Gates open at 6 p.m.In case of a rainout, the fireworks display will be held with the Sunday flight program. 4
