Within a week, it is expected the rity will throw open the newly built road into Mary Didier Memorial park, and it no longer will benecessary to wind around throughthe Soo tracks, flooring factory yards and Collins mill office to get to the new municipal swimmingbeach iThe new road cuts to the northwest from Thayer and Madison streets, curves below the old planing mill, and then swings along high ground to the swimming beach, missing factory yards and* railroad tracks.As soon as the road settles enoughto bear traffic, it will be used, Parking space is provided along the : road near the beach.Workmen probably will start, tearing down the old Collins saw-s mill next week according to City Manager T M.
