Old Spirit O: July Fourth Comes BackBenton Harbor will join with the rest of the nation tomorrow in the celebration of the Fourth of July, date of America's Declaration of Independence,The Fourth this year finds the nation fired with the same determination and hope that spurred the colonists to the sacrifices of the Revolution. Signs of improving business %and increased employment, definitely real after four years of economic struggle, mark another turning point in American history as significant as the new course charted In the Declaration of Independence.Benton Harbor’s only official celebration will be a free concert at Fil-strup stadium at 7:30 o'clock tomorrow night. The newly organised Young People's band, directed by Franklin WHtse, assistant director of the high school bands, will Way a varied program. It will be the band’s first public appearance.The concert, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and civic committee, will be free to the public. Local and nearby summer resorts .reported good business over the weekend, in spite of the rain storms Saturday and heavy traffic today added to the army of resorters.The House of David will open for the summer tomorrow and thousands are expected to hear,Madame Schu-mann-Heink, wh^-will sin: in the afternoon and evening.
