FORMER CHAMPSTHIS GROlTP HAD much to talk over when they met here recently for the 50th reunion of the Washington High School class of 1917. They are members of the girls basketball team which won the Southeast Iowa title in 1917 and were also mythical state champions in the day before state tournaments. Left to right are VVilla Gibson Freshwater*, Anita Richards Peck, Coach Russ M. Vigquain, Gladys Bernoskie Smith, Margaret Bauer Voorhees and Ruth Pierce Blick. Also a member of the team was one junior in 1917, Nita Wehr Ross.
