I DAVIDSON JUNIORS BFAT LINCOLNTONDAVIDSON, July 1.—The David-j son Juniors defeated Lincolnton by j the score of 9 to 3. After the third inning Davidson had the game practically sewed up. La wing, replacing Riddle in the third, pitched airtight ball for the remainder of the game Wilhelm, Renfrow and Riddle were Davidson’s best hitters, while Gor-! don and Ewing got six of Lincoln-| ton's eight hits. Davidson is tied | with Gastonia for top honors in j Group Two. Saturday Mooresville will play Davidson at Richardson Field in Davidson at 3:30 p m, July 4th Davidson and Gastonia play at Gastonia in the last game of this first elimination series. Davidson is practically sure of advancing to the playoff of the next district.Score: r h.
