Claim Heat Cause Of Miller's Deaths •yhcrpKslve heat Caused tile deatli of Ernie Miller, well known Berkeley baseball pitcher, it was learned today.The athlete died yesterday in a Tucson hospital after only a brief illness. Word of his death was received here yesterday by members of his family but it was not learned until later whatcaused his passing.Miller had quite a record as a pitcher. He had formerly competed Here as a school player and later pitched for the Lee the Haberdasher team of major and minor league stars. He toured the country with the House of David nine, and, after having been given a trial with the San Francisco Seals this spring, had been farmedout to the Tucson club in the-Arl-zona-Texas League.
