SANDOVAL — The Sandoval Blackhawks were virtually eliminated lrom the Egyptian-Il-lini Conference race b riday — but it took the Okawville Rock ets three overtimes to get the job done.The Rockets, tied for the E-I lead with Patoka, downed the Hawks 63-56 alter the clubs battled on even terms for 38 min utes.Tom Dahncke, Rocket guard, led the winners with 19 points while Don VVeeke and Ron Scott hit 13 each. Ken Gregory pace T the Hawks with 20 while Dave DeChenne and Dale Hemzmann hit 10 each.Sandoval took at early 14-9 lead and Okawville bounced back to tie the count at half-time. The Rockets led by a point entering the fourth period Ibut the Hawks battled back to jtie sending the game into overtime.Both clubs scored two ponits in each the first and second overtimes but Okawville opened the game with a scoring barrage in the third extra period and won by seven points.Okawville won the game from the free throw line where they connected on 19 of 30.
