—♦—Shine Reed to BoxRockford, Jan. 51. — Shine Reed, of .Freeport, is in the city putting the finishing touches to his training before his go with Griffin at Elgin tomorrow evening. Reed has been here several days and is in good condition, lie having beeu doing good work in the past few weeks. Red Ryan will go to the Watch City with Reed and is also likely to get a chance to box the same evening.Reed is matched for a bout at Freeport on the evening of Feb. 15 and is said ,to be pitted against one of the fastest boxers of this class which the Pretzel City boxer has met.• ^ • ■ ■ **
