Garden dunked Friends Bible Academy of Haviland 57-35, leading all the way.On two different occasions this season, the GCJC women had lost games by a single point.Garden led FBA 15-7. 31-11, and 37-25 at the stops Thursday. The Broncettes shot 35 per cent (28x81) from the field, converted 1x2 free throws, hauled down 42 rebounds, and were charted for 25 turnovers.The host Haviland crew shot just 20 per cent (16x79) from the field and made 3x6 at the line. Hoss and Coppock each scored 10 points for the losers.Margaret Jennings set what are probably two all-time GCJC women’s cage records. Garden is in its fourth season of women’s basketball.The Lakin sophomore dropped in 17 field goals for 34 Broncette points. She also hauled down 20 rebounds. Nancy Hoisted had eight points and six rebounds. Kathy Herod added six points.GCJC has two games next week. Tuesday the Bron-cetttes host Dodge City Juco.
