Junior Gators Notch 16th WinTwo quarters were all that the Fr. Geibel Junior Varsity basketball squad needed to roil up its 16th win of the campaign, an 80*35 walloping of the South Huntingdon Jayvees, last night at the Mendon School court.Coach Ken Misiak’s Junior Gators moved into a 20*5 first ! quarter edge, and were out of sight at the intermission, 43-15. This was hiked to 56-26 after three quarters, and the Gators closed with 24 points to nine by the home club,All 12 players on the roster got into the scoring column for the Junior Gators, who now stand 16-1 for the season, and are on a five-game winning streak, following. their lone loss to North Union's Juniors earlier this month.Vince Tedesco was high for the Gators and the game with 14, Andy Habina added 11, andPaul Trafecanty 10, as together they hooped 35 points, equaling the output of the entire lineup of the Junior Eagles.
