TO TAKE CORN CENSUS'Seed Situation In the State Qnlte Serious, According to Governor.f* •CENSUS TAKERS ARE NAMEDIMen Appointed to Report on Available Seed jn Every School District in State of Iowa.Recognizing jthe serious shortage of seed-corn throughout the state, and desiring to obtain such Information as will make possible an Intelligent handling of the situation, Governor Harding has appointed seed-corn census takers In every school district in Iowa.It is believed that a census of the seed-corn on hand and supervision over its distribution will enable every farmer to secure seed grown In the state. The problem is to locate the supply, and that Is the object of the census.The township and'school district census takers for the four townships surrounding Algona are as follows: ■^ Union—Myron Schenck, township director.
