Gettysburg Jaycees win tourneyLITTLESTOWN — The Gettysburg Jaycees won the District 10B basketball tournament which was recently held at the Littlestown Middle School The Colonial Jaycees finished second and Littlestown came in thirdGettysburg won ail four of their games with two victories over runner-up Colonials Gettysburg also won their initial contest by a 68-54 coutn and later defeated'the Colonials 57-48 in the championship game. In that game. Gettysburg was led by Dave Sites, who had 20 points.The Gettysburg roster consisted of the following players: Jeff Chamberlain. Mike Staub. Jim Williams. Jim Kunkel. Steve Gutting. Dave Heiges. Kerrv Stull. Dave Lovett and Sites JHi Murren from the Colonial Jaycees was announced as the tournament's Most Valuable Player. Murren scored 100 points in five games for a 20-point average Murren’s individual trophy, as well as all team trophies, will tie presented at the yearend District meeting other chapters participating in the tournament were Upper Adams.
