GREEK DEMON WINS BOUTDemetral Throws Ernest Roeber, Ger-I man Champion, in Two Straight Falls at the Kerrigan.William Demetral, the Greek, proved too strong for Ernest Roeber in the' wrestling exhibition at the Kerrigan j last night and both falls went to him. In the first Roeber went to the mat f under the power of a full Nelson in 22:13 minutes and in the second Demetral pushed Roeber's shoulders down for the fall in 16:14 minutes with a body scissors and fariher arm hold.The semi-final, in which Spurge Norman, the west end champion, won two j J out of three falls from Simon Rlust, j: the lloosier Thunderbolt, created i much interest, as there has been considerable rivalry between (ho two ! boys. Norman won the first fall in 5128:42 with a body scissors and arm ,. hold and Rlust copped the second in 12:36 with a hammorlock. Norman pinned Rlust down for the third fall in 10:06 with a head scissors and crotch hold., In the preliminary “Snuffy” Reno P: defeated Yonker White. The latter• iwon the first fall with a body scissors 1 and toe hold in 5 minutes but Reno , secured the second fall with a full Nelson in 6:10 and the third with a hammorlock in 7:07.“Dad” Strieker officiated as referee.
