Fla., of pneumonia; In-the last fifteen yearshe had constructed or-improved about £00 golf courses.He was born at Manorville on May 7, 1874, and was educated at Princeton, where he studied engineering. He was *a surveyor in Suffolk County, when Charles B. MacDonald employed him in 1907 to survey^ the property nf the National Golf Links of America and aid in reconstructing it, duplicating parts of golf courses in Great Britain,Mr. McDonald was impressed with Mr. RaynoFs ability and engaged the surveyor to construct the Sleepy Hollow golf course, t'he Piping Rock course and the Lido course at LongBeach. On Mr. MacDonald’s advice,Miv Raynor became a golf course architect, devoting all his time to the business. He built courses in Bermuda, Florida, California, Porto Eico and Hawaii.
