The belt was given to Gion by the Moose Jaw Athletic Association when he defeated Clarence Ec’-lund the ftrst time.Mr. Gion hs agreed to hang up the belt and the winner of the Gion-Myre match to be the owner. This match will be for the I ght heavyweight championship of the world.Mr. Ryan realizes that the B B. theatre will not begin to hold all who wish to see this match, but he will serve the ones who make their reservations first.Myre is anxious to wm this match for Gion has won from Eckiund twice. If he wins Eck-i lund will have not the slightest right to claim the light heavyweight championship. At present he cla ms this title in spite of the Gion defeat.Ryan has repeatedly tried to get Eckiund to come to Albert Lea for ? matrh and has agreed to guarantee him a purse of $1,000.
