The Gopher State representatives Comfrey, Westbrook and Verdi are expected to provide the kind of competition that will make the Harris - Lake Park Tournament one of the most ex citing In North-r west.Iowa.Westbrook is fresh off their team championship in the Adrian,Minn. Tournament while Comfreysports Conference winners from last year at 167 lbs. and at the heavy weight slot. Heavy weight Roger Treml unbeaten so far this year and District runner up last year is expected to run into . stiff competition from Harris -. Lake Park heavy weight Keith Pedley who placed fourth instate competition last year and who has suffered only one loss so far this year.- Ken Morphew at 167 lbs. from the “Wolf Pack” is also expected to provide tough competition for tournament opponents. He has won two tournaments this year and is unbeaten in dual meets. The Wolves also have an out • . standing wrestler In Mike Mayou at 138 lbs. He is also a two tournament winner this year and has ' lost a single match. 112 lb. Scott Zahren boasts a first place win In one tournament and a second in another and sports a record of 13 wins and four losses. Craig . Hartmann, last year’s championat 126 lbs. returns at 132 lbs.•with two tournament places under his belt this season. 98 IberTom Hemphill, 145 Iber. Dale Peters and 185 lber. Terry Bergendahl have a total of eight place winnings in tournaments this year also.title as they field a five tournament team which includes four undefeated wrestlers. 112 lber. Dennis Klingbile leads the Trojans as he is undefeated and was a fourth place winner in district last year. Doug Hansen will definitely add some more competition in the heavyweight division ■ as he has won all of his matches by falls this year with the exception of one win on a decision. Joe Sudtelgte at 145 lbs. is undefeated and was a regional qualifier last season. Dave Hun-ningson is Verdi's undefeated 185lber.Melvin and Sioux Valley of Linn Grove will also be well represented. Sioux Valley has a team record of four wins and three losses thus far this season and have some outstanding wrestlers also. Jeff Genson returns this year at 126 lbs. and has two second,place finishes in tournaments, while 145 lber. Soren Raveling has won one tournament and Jon Winterboer at 105 lbs. has placed in two. Unfortunately no information has been received with regard to the Arnolds Park or Verdi, Minn, teams.This year there will be a first place trophy and a runner-up trophy for the top two teams. Medals for the first, second, and third place finishers in each weight class will be presented, as well as a medal for the wrestler with the quickest fall of the tournament. There promises to be several excellent individual matches throughout the tournament and the team trophy is up for grabs ' so plan to attend.The first two rounds of the tournament begin at 1:30 p.m..
