Lee. Midland’s new school. It seems likely that Midland Madison, currently Midland High School, will remain the Bulldogs. And it's probably best that way.Of course, there may be some sentiment for carrying the James Madison theme to the nickname and call the athletic representatives of the school something like the Presidents, in recognition of his tenure as fourth president of the United States. But what if the feminine faction, very prominent especially now in view of attention devoted to ihe present first lady of the land, should win out and Madisons sports huskies would become the -Dollys”?Perhaps its best not to tamper with the Bulldogs. However, our om lei. the imagination run rampant with the possibilities surrounding Midland Robert K. It would seem to this observer, that one of the school's colors would have to be gray.Lee—Rebels, Grays, Travelers?Blue and Gray would make an attractive colorM'hcmc. but the objections to such a combination arc obvious.
