Alexander to Pitch For House of DavidBy The Asnoriated Press.Davenport, la., Jan. 24.--Grover Cleveland Alexander, pitching hero of the 1927 world's aeries, has been signed by the House of David Baseball team for 1931, Ray Doan, business manager, said today.Doan said Alexander will get the highest salary ever paid a semi-pro player. He said he had tried for several months to obtain a contract with him.
