The fight *ms held in the open house under the auspices of the Vapor City-Athletic club, and the club bung up a purse of 11,000 for the men to battle for. Both irien fought fast and bard from the beginning, and during tha early rounds U eeemod nothing but Creedoa, but he did not keep up the faat pace he set and after the fifth round he was kept busy trying to avoid a knockout.
