Minor Hockey Week January 24th to 31stLast May in Toronto, Mr. Jack Roxburgh, chairman of the minor hockey committee reported to the CAHA annual meeting that for the 15)57-58 season there had been 90,400 players registered for minor hockey under CAHA rules and regulations.These regulation figures, although an important part of our story, provide only a partial picture, however for there are thousands of others that are playing under the supervision or authority of the CAHA or its affiliates but not registered under CAHA provisions, A conservative estimate, then would be that there are in excess of 150,000 Canadian boys taking part b organised, properly supervised minor hockey. «
