SlUll Ui i.11 lt;3 IUW41 i UUU-O-First State Pro Tourney Is ArrangedI The iirst annua! state professional golf tournament scheduled for February at the Phoenix Country club is assured with the replies from seven golf professionals of Arizona Stating that they would participate in the hands of the local officials. This announcement ,p!ras ma,*e last night by W'il'ie Mann, professional of the Phoenix Country club, who stated that letters from all of the professionals in the state had been received tnd that with one exception the letters indicated that the golfers would be here for the February event. Two pros were not certain as to whether they could come or not while seven stated that they would be oh hand.Five of the acceptances were from valley golf professionals while C« TV. ELafcesley of the Cob re Valley Country chib and Boy Hayes of the Tucson Gulf and •''ouhtry club stated they would a1 so paticipate. Jock McLaren of Hot Springs and Alec McLaren of Warren Country club promised to let the local club know §omc- time this week whether or,not roey would be able to httend. Bert TVi’Jinms of the Verder Valley Country club at Ciarkdale stated that he 1 would be unable to participate ib the tourney.These who stated that thoy_ would take part, besides Hayes of Tucson and Blakesley of Cobre Valley, are: Harry Collis and Jock Robdrts, San Marcos, Chandler; Bob Owens, In-glosiae Inn; Walter Devereux, Hollywood Golf club, and TViiUe Mann,
