bat NELSON BACK ON COAST; Returns from Clifford Tight to Prepare for Scaler.Los Angelesv Cal., January 17.— Pattling Nelson, resplendent in a bright red woolen shirt, his usual collection of diamonds, and a bank roll big enough to blockade a circus parade with, arrived in Lost Angeles last night, and registered at the Alexandria hotel.Nelson comes here to fill his date with Kid Scaler, whom Bat is to fight before the local club on the night of January 28, for a side bet of $1,000.“The old man is himself again, and is right on the elevator bound for the top floor,” said Nelson as an eye opener. “I’m going to whip this little boy fcealer, and then I’ll be waiting at the church for Unholz.
