Baie is some hunter. He has the distinction of, being the only person who has shot a wolf in De-Kalb county this winter. In Somonauk township on Monday he - shot and; killed a full-grown wolf with his rifle, at the considerable distance of about 30 rods. He received the $10 bounty from the county.*In fact, Mr. Baie is the only personwho has killed awolf in this county in the last three years, as no bounty was paid on wolves during 1915 and 1916. In 1914 bounty was paid on nine wolves, five of which were killed by Mr. Baie and his brother.Wolves are scarce now “on account of the war.19 ' * *
