Holder, colored dash man; Jimmy Knight,.Forrest Morgan and Bernard Grant, middie distances; Orsie Poff, 2-miler, and Leo Colton, who threw the shot 48 feet as a freshman.Among the. promising / freshmen are Durward Crooma, 'colored grid flash who can step the dashes and quarter; Red Bridges, of Admire, Kansas inter scholastic champion in the 880; Tyree Mack, a- colored miier who was a member of the Kansas Vocational School (Topeka) team last spring; Alva Gould, quarter miler from Emporia High; Clark, a Wellington High product who several times won the high school 880 at the Kansas relays, and possibly others.
