At Hie midwinter meeting o'f the' • ♦toembefs of the Ohio Valley Athletic Association held ia^ Wheeling Saturday, a motion was fcnadc to stage a basket ball tournament in the city of Wheeling but the motion failed.This action is a disappointment to Wheeling, remembering the lengthy controversy last year concerning the championship. It was hoped by all of the schools concerned to stage some , kind of at tournament and decide honors publically this season.A committee was appointed to look after the Wheeling floors but after searching the city no suitable floor could be secured, none being large enough to accommodate the largecrowds that would attend the cham-* r •pionship games.
