R. E. Massey, another Mexia High. school gind player of the past season, also has entered the events here. Massey, weight 130 pounds, will fight in the lightweight division; he is 18 years of age, and a member of the Mexia Boys’ Gym club.Whitaker, Massey SignedAnother club ■ member. Billy Whitaker, 16 years old and weighing 134 pounds, will fight in the same division as Massey. Boys from the same team, however, will not be matched among themselves in the opening rounds. Both Massey and Whitaker have an opportunity to tangle with one another if they win their build up matches, it was explained.So far only one featherweight boxer from Mexia has entered the 'GoldCr. Gloves. He is 127-pound, 10-year old Roland Flatt. He, too, is a member of the local gym club.
